 There are three types of so called window frosting:   1.Window Frosting Vinyl What is frosted vinyl? - This is a non-permanent vinyl sticker that is design to be applied onto windows.  What designs do you get? - You can find frosted vinyl in an assortment of designs within the vinyl itself and you can also have designs cut out of the vinyl for a more bespoke option.  How long does the product last? - Frosted vinyls lifespan on a window depends on the manufacturer, how the vinyl was applied and the general environment, which all play a part in its life cycle.  What makes frosted vinyl so special? - Frosted vinyl is non-permanent meaning that after a few years you can remove the vinyl if need be, this is a great option for people renting as its not permanent. How To Apply Window Frosting Vinyl?

Before we start, you get two types of applications a wet application and a dry application. Please ask your supplier which method your vinyl is designed for, in this instance because we are applying frosted vinyl we will be instructing on the wet method but please note not all frosted vinyl is applied with wet application method but it is the most common method used.   What you need before you get started: 1 x Spray bottle. 1 x Dish-wash liquid /Johnson and Johnson baby shampoo. 1 x Window scraper. 1 x Window cleaning squeegee. 1 x Application squeegee. 1 x Cutting blade.  1 x Metal ruler. 1 x Window frosted vinyl. 2 x Old towels.   Prepare the windows: Fill the spray bottle - 500ml/0,528qt - with water and add about half a teaspoon of dish-wash liquid or Johnson and Johnson baby shampoo, shake to mix the liquid solution.  Move all curtains or blinds out of the way.
